Academic Requirements
An extremely important aspect for your path to nursing school  is maintaining a high GPA. Although necessary, your GPA by itself will not grant you admission into nursing school, you must also complete the necessary prerequisite classes to be eligible to even apply. Be mindful of always excelling academically as it will significantly boost your opportunities towards reaching your goal! An average GPA to get accepted into nursing school is usually around 3.5

Clinical Experience
Clinical experience could make you stand out over a pool of applicants and give you the necessary edge to get admitted. In addition, it can also help you build connections for your future. Different fields require different number of clinical hours, however, the more the better.

TEAS and GRE
TEAS, which stands for Test of Essential Academic Skills, is administered through Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) Nursing Education. The test is a basic aptitude test designed to identify students who would succeed in nursing school and who have the ability to think like a nurse. The Graduate Record Examinations is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the United States. The GRE is owned and administered by Educational Testing Service.
